PhD Position:

There are several PhD positions available in the Lab. Prospective candidates should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Condensed Matter Physics and are expected to have a strong background in solid-state device physics. Prior experience in experimental transport measurement and device nanofabrication is a strong factor. Notre Dame researchers are part of a five-year, $194 million research effort recently announced by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) to support continued growth and leadership in the U.S. semiconductor industry. Post Doctoral Researcher Position:

NDCL is looking for a post doctoral candidate to work in the area of next generation solid-state electronic devices for high performance computing. Prospective candidates should have a PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Condensed Matter Physics and expected to have a strong background in transport physics in solid state materials. Prior experience in experimental transport measurement and device nanofabrication and characterization is a strong factor. Notre Dame researchers are part of a five-year, $194 million research effort recently announced by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) to support continued growth and leadership in the U.S. semiconductor industry. The post doctoral candidate is expected to lead a group of energetic and talented PhD students and interact closely with the leading technologists from the US commercial and defense electronics industries.
